Does the speed of recession, greater for more distant galaxies, hint at a POSITIVELY curved space?

In a space-time that is positively curved, more distant galaxies, fall off the edge faster (something like a roller-coaster downward gradient).

In a negatively curved space-time the results would be opposite.

Is space-time then, POSITIVELY curved?
