Recently, the internet browser has been so slow on my phone, only when I use the Internet browser while on WiFi. All other apps run smoothly like games, music… Except for streaming services like youtube or home secuirty, and then regular Internet browser usage. When I try to load a we page, it's like the page hands at 1/4th of the progress bar, sits for about 2 minutes, then loads the page. I have to switch between data lately & it's frustrating.
I haven't downloaded any new apps or updated anything, have the latest update on my phone… Samsung Galaxy S6 active btw. And this issue just started yesterday. There's no one on WiFi but my, so the service isn't clogged, and when I use my ps3 to look at youtube, stream, load pages, it's responsive so it's not the service, and my wifi signal is the highest it can be.
Does anyone know what else I could check? I did a Norton app scan, but it just browses apps. Not sure if I need to do or run anything else to check for other viruses. It just says "no malare found" but it only searches apps so not sure if that s a thorough scan or not, although I haven't downloaded anything I'm aware of. And since my other devices run fine when I doubke checked, I assume it may be the phone? I d appreciate any insight on what I can check as Tech support wasn't too helpful and I thank you in advance for your help & tips!
