So currently i have my ipad air 2, and galaxy a7 2016. I use my phone for internet uses and ipad as gaming and other productive stuff. The thing is, my a7 lags A LOT. It really kills me! I also found that 9.7 is not my ideal gaming screen. So, i decided to buy 8 inch tablet instead.
I'll use it for web surf, gaming, and reading. I found only two devices interesting- the tab s2, and mini 2. While tab s2 is more expensive and better - the mini 2 was also very reasonable to me, as i have same quality amoled screen on my phone, and mostly - there's a galaxy tab s2 9.7 in our house(it's always there, and i only sometimes use it, not really mine though.)
The thing i'm worried about mini 2 is more then performance(besides, the antutu benchmark score for those two are very similar) it's about google apps crashing. The main reason i sold my ipad air 1 was that the google-related apps just crashed down for whole day.
So, what should i go with - the much recent tab s2, or much cheaper mini 2?
Also, keep in mind that i don't care about thickness and stuff - i look much more forward to screen size
