I dropped my last phone in the toilet and was thrilled that it still turned on, only to have a couple days later the screen bleed and it never work again. Well, now 2 years later, my current phone fell in the toilet. I retrieved it ASAP, wiped it off, and tapped it in my hand so any water around the inside of the charge port came out. Once again, my phone worked. Mind you, this also happened at the end of May last year and we're now at the end of February. Considering how fast my last phone gave out, I wouldn't expect this one to be around 9 months later. I've been having issues with charging amongst other things. My phone carrier says all the things I'm saying sound like water damage. I have a galaxy s6 so the only water damage indicator strip you can see without tearing into the phone is inside the sim card slot, and it hasn't been activated. Of course, those don't always work, so they'd have to take my phone apart and check for corrosion that would signify water got into the phone. But all the problems I'm having I've had before the phone ever fell, and with as long as this phone has lasted since the incident, what's the chance of there actually having been water inside?
