Has anyone gone to iPhone and regretted it?

I was an iPhone user and switched to Android a few years ago. I had a Moto X, Galaxy, and now I have a Galaxy Note 4. I was thinking of going back to iPhone. I just enjoy a phone that works all the time without any glitches, I like having iMessage, always having updates etc. But part of me is worried that if I go back to an iPhone I will regret it. I know there are great things about the iPhone but I guess my biggest concern is that iOS just seems so boring. My other thought though is that if I get a new iPhone I think I'll like it since it is new and a great phone. I want to know what other people's experiences were like.
