Samsung Galaxy S4 bootloop after screen replacement?

HI, I have recently broke the LCD of my Samsung Galaxy S4. I have then ordered a new one on amazon and replaced it with no problem. But since i haven't been able to completely power on my device. After holding down the power button, the "Samsung galaxy S4 I-9505" screen appears but rather than booting up afterwards, the screen simply turns off with no sound or vibration output either. This is the same for recovery mode as well as download mode, it'll enter recovery/download mode for a few seconds and then turns off. Please could someone tell me what's wrong with it and how can i fix this problem? Thank you
