I am planning to move out of the United States after some time to another country. I was wondering if it's possible to buy a phone here in the US and then continue using it when I move overseas. I thought this could be done with an unlocked phone, but then I heard that there were two versions of unlocked phones (unlocked international and unlocked USA)… And the unlocked USA does not work outside. I've heard that the unlocked international version does not work well in the US (is this true?), and that you could changed the unlocked USA to unlocked international, how easy/difficult is that?
Can anybody explain this to me in a simple way… It's really confusing, I don't know much anything about these topics. Is there a way to buy the phone in the link below and then use overseas?
