Verizon: Is it okay if I use more than my shared data?
My dad pays the family's cell phone bills. There are four people in the house who all have Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphones. All of us have a plan of unlimited texting, unlimited minutes, and some data (specified below). So I went on the My Verizon Mobile App under Shared Account usage summary today and I saw that I have this thing called Bonus Data which my plan says I have 1 GB of it. Then I have Data which shows I used 0.997 GB out of 3 GB. So does that mean I have 4 GB for the entire family? I don't get the point of Bonus Data. So does this mean I am only supposed to use 1 GB?
My mom does not know how to use her phone well, so she does not use much data. What if I use a little more than 1 GB of data? My cycle ends in 3 days from today.
