Widget graphics freezing after Android G900VVRU2BOG5 update?

I updated to version G900VVRU2BOG5 on my Samsung Galaxy S5 on August 14th (about 2.5 weeks before this). Now, I've noticed that all of my widgets that I use on my home screens (which in this case are the flashlight, music player, and alarms) don't change at all unless I reset my phone, and that only works for a bit. By that, I mean that normally when I turn the flashlight on, the flashlight button turns from grey to green. Or when I turn my alarms on, the text turns from grey to green as well. And for the music widget, it just shows the song title, artist, and album art. However, after this update, none of this happens. The flashlight and alarms stay grey (making it especially hard to tell if my alarms are set for the morning for school) and the music widget doesn't change at all when the songs change. That one is a simple enough fix if I just open the music app, but the alarm is the one that is worrying and the most frustrating. Does anyone else experience this and know why it's happening, and if it is going to get fixed?
