I asked my mum if she could buy me the Samsung S8 since it is only £360 right now, rather than the usually £609 price. I asked if i could have it as a early birthday present, but she said she would just buy it at full price when my birthday arrives.
I don't really know what to convince her with. She would rather buy it full price on my birthday than buy it cheaper a few months early.
