She has one currently, but the display is a little hard on her eyes, and I'm having trouble choosing a brand/model as I've never really had experience with any Amazon, Samsung, Nexus, etc tablets before, and I like iPads for their simplicity but I can't afford one right now.
I'm looking for one that has a fairly decent display, doesn't have loads of pop ups (like I've seen with some Amazon Fire tablets), and can run Facebook, Netflix, and small games like bingo, word searches, solitaire without glitches and/or crashing. If you recommend one that you use or have used in the past please let me know pros and cons!
