I have a plant that was given to be as my Biology assignment to take care of. I don't know what type of plant it is but its just a generic green leaf that I cut off another plant and given root powder to. I have put it in a biodegradable cup with soil and watered twice a day. I have it out in sunlight but I would like to know if the light on my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge will help with its growth, and if so, is it worth the trouble or is the growth not significant enough to be bothered to do. If the answer is yes to both, is there a certain colour that I can emit to the plant to make it grow more? I heard the colour purple may help its growth? I was thinking of downloading an image of purple and just putting it on my phone screen overnight facing the plant. Might be stupid but just wondering if either the phone light or the picture of purple would work. Please help.
