I have been a loyal Samsung consumer as far as smart phones go for a while now. I currently own the samsung galaxy s4, and I've had it for over two years; I'm due for an upgrade, but I'm torn between the s7 and the brand new s8. Both of these options are technically affordable for me, but I d like to avoid an unnecessarily expensive purchase. Any recommendations?
