I've tried many means to try making that not happen. I used the move function, the copy and paste. But I realize as long as the move/copy is from another hard drive into that SD card, (for e.g. From the phone's internal memory to SD, or from PC to SD), the modified date will change to the date it was copied/moved, instead of the date it was created. The date it was created doesn't show on the phone, but it shows on the PC as the date and time the phone was plugged into the PC.
How do I copy such that I do not lose such valuable date of created information? I'm copying images and videos which I treasure and I want to be able to know when I took them.
I've tried zipping/raring it as well and then extracting it, but it still does not retain the original date created/modified once it has been 'released' into the SD card. However inside the rar/zip file it had the original date created/modified info in the files.
Any suggestions?
