My father and I have just recently beaten the Mass Effect Trilogy, with the extended cut of course, and we've been having a debate whether destroy, the option I picked, or synthesis, the option he picked is, morally better. He feels that synthesis is better because it creates galactic peace, I understand his claim but I feel that synthesis is similar to communism in the way that it looks out for everyone as a single unit, whereas destroy it doesn't bring peace, but it doesn't force the merging of DNA on the people of the galaxy. So I am wondering which is truly better, I would also like to hear some insight on the control ending as well.
