So, I've had my Galaxy S4 for 3 years now and I Really want to get rid of it. It was a terrific phone at the time, but now it is completely falling apart and on the verge of dying. I've dropped it, cracked it, threw it across the room, etc. New phones have also come out.
I want to get the Galaxy S6 Edge, but someone told me to simply buy it unlocked and keep my regular phone plan? How does that work exactly. I've seen so many of these phones unlocked on Ebay and other places. A bit expensive, but what happens after I buy the phone full price? Do I keep my old plan? How do I set up a carrier for it?
