SAMSUNG S5 WONT PLAYBACK VIDEOS?!

have an samsung s5.had it for a while. All of a sudden this morning it refuses to play back videos… I can still record them… And for some reason if i try to "cut" or "edit" them i can view them fine… I can still send them to people and they can see them. But for some reason it wont playback on the regular view… Message simply says "cannot play video". This goes for older videos as well that i could view before… Every other video playing works on my phone…(like going on youtube or instagram) so it appears to just be my gallery view that does not play? Some one help ahhh!

p.s. I tried deleted a bunch of older videos and files thinking it was too much storage. My phone was on low battery when this happened so i tried recharging and still nothing…
