Can't play video on Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom?

I have a Galaxy S4 Zoom (basically an s4 Mini with a large camera attached) and I've owned it for a few months now, but just today in my gallery I've been getting the issue "Can't play video" whenever I try to playback a video from both the camera and Gallery app. But when I post them to any social media they are perfectly fine and aren't corrupted or anything. How could I fix this issue that came up randomly?
Added (1). Used VLC player and it works although I honestly prefer the original playback option. One weird thing though is that there is a different model, a Galaxy S2 in my home that this just happened to at the same time also. I've never heard of this happening so I wouldn't be surprised if no one had answers
