I plan on being a Civil Engineering major next fall and I was wondering which laptop to buy, I've been shopping for a very long and am still undecided. I've been looking at the one below and I'm a little iffy because of the size of the hard drive-it's only 256 GB. Also, do you think Samsung will be getting out of the laptop business? I ask this because they're the brand you don't really see a whole lot. If they are, will it be a wise choice to buy a Samsung laptop? I have the Galaxy S5 and I love it!

Added (1). Also does Windows 8.1 have built-in virus protection?
Added (2). I also like the fact that Samsung sort of has a monopoly with Apple in technology.
