I use a galaxy star pro. They call it a budget phone for some reason but it doesn't have even the minimum features of a budget phone of the same cost. I've been using it for some months now. I heard that rooting phone makes it perform better but the warranty goes void and the phone is gets easily affected by viruses.
Also samsung stopped rolling out OS updates for star pro, which sucks cuz i really like the kitkat version and now that the new lollipop is released
Now Im pretty new to android source stuff but Im not shy to try out new things with my phone.
So is it wise to root my particular phone model?
