Computer help for the not so savvy?

Hi guys, so lately I've been getting a lot more interested in computer gaming but I've realized my system is not able to handle many games if any at all these days. I've had this computer for maybe over 3 years and as a 17 year old with little money I need help in my debate for whether I can upgrade some parts to get it running what I want, or am I better off waiting it out and replacing it completely? So on to what you're here for.

All the specs to my computer model hopefully is on this site here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02642273&tmp_track_link=ot_faqs/top_issues/en_us/c02642273/loc:4&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=5059059#N151

If you think I can manage with a couple upgrades what is it you recommend? I'm not looking to run Battlefield in max settings. More along the lines of playing league of legends on some decent settings with 30+ fps. Thanks guys!
