My update is coming in about a month or so. I'm coming from a Galaxy S3. I know the s5 is more colorful and bright than the G3's screen, but I don't care. The galaxy series have great phones, but still too mainstream. Everyone has the galaxy series and I want something different. It's still an option though. Honestly, I can get pretty much any phone I want out right now since the 2-year plan price thingy is so cheap and cash has been saved. However, I've been hearing some problems about the phone I want. I've heard about the headphone jack but I don't really plug in my earphones to my phone that much.
Now… Overheating and battery life. I'm not going to disable this and that and carry around extra stuff just so my phone won't overheat or have a huge battery drain. Not worth it; I'd rather use it to the near fullest potential. I'm an average user. I text a lot. Don't talk that often, maybe an hour or two a day. I play lots of little app games(subway surfer, temple run, clash of clans) and a nice handful of social apps(Facebook, google+, youtube, kik). I run these a lot, usually switching back and multitasking between game/social/internet. Screen brightness usually on auto. Also, I have backup apps that backs up data every time i take a picture of something since I'm paranoid of losing everything on my phone, but only when I'm connected to WiFi.
I'll most likely have this for 2 years, so I'd like opinions/suggestions.
P.S: I don't use iPhones. Too lazy to go all into detail.
