I have a 256GB Samsung SSD 840 Pro connected to a USB port using a SATA to USB lead. A red light on the lead seems to indicate it is connected but it an icon does not appear in My Computer. I am trying to recover some data that may be on the SSD but am unable to do so since it is not recognised by Windows. I checked the Samsung website but couldn't see any drivers to download. Could it be impossible to achieve what I am trying to do?
