Android Update Assistance, please?

So, I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge through Straight Talk and it came running Android 6.0.1…

I purchased my Straight Talk cell phone service, running through Verizon…
When I was still with Straight Talk, it would always tell me that I'm up to date with the latest software, every time I'd try to check for an update…
Now, I switched to T-Mobile and it tells me straight up that it's temporarily unavailable to check for updates…
Now, I've contacted Straight Talk and ask them for a solution and they told me how it's not their problem and I also contacted Samsung themselves and they told me that it's not their problem either…
I just find it lovely how the very company themselves that created this cell phone won't even stand behind it and support it's flaws…
Now the big question is, is there anybody out there who knows a solution as to how I can update to Android 7.0? Like is there any way that I can manually Force the phone to update? If so, please let me know…
