So yeah i dropped my S8+, from less than half a meter high no less, but it fell on a hard stone pavement and the whole screen cracked. Naturally, i asked samsung if it can be repaired. One of the authorized service centers said it ll cost around $250 and the ip68 rating will remain.
Since the glass and display will be replaced, will the new screen be as good? S8 had the best amoled screen i've ever looked at, will the new one be of the same quality? And will they need to reset the entire phone?
