I have a Galaxy S8, and I let it sit in the sun for about 45 minutes, in which time the battery temp rose to about 115 degrees Fahrenheit. Long battery life is something that is very important to me, and I'm wondering if this event will affect the battery life or any other aspect of the phone in the long run. Of course, I let it cool down in the shade afterwards, and I will try not to do it again.
