As of now I have a refurbished Galaxy S4 that I have had for about 2 years now, but I'm tempted to upgrade to either the S8 or the Google Pixel (or any other Android phone if you have suggestions) when I get a new plan.
My S4 does have some annoying qwerks that I have to deal with on a weekly basis, such as restarting the phone nearly every time I take it out of airplane mode (that is the biggest problem). The one thing I do like about my S4 is the removable battery which most smart phones today don't have that luxury.
I was looking at the S8 and as stated above my main concern with new smart phones today is that they lack a removable battery, and if I do get a smart phone I plan on keeping it for 5+ years.
All I usually do with my phone is call/text people, and if I get Verizon's unlimited data plan I can see myself watching a lot more youtube videos on my phone.
So in your personal opinon, should I just keep my S4 and live through the bugs, or should I upgrade to a new smart phone such as the S8?
