I have connected my Alienware desktop PC to my Samsung TV via HDMI, and projected my computer screen onto it with the "Extend" setting, where my mouse will move onto the TV if I move it to the far right of my computer screen. If I make a program windowed and drag it along with the mouse, such as the Chrome browser I used to type this, it will go there too. When I try to maximize it again, it works with no problems. The same can't be said for the PC games I've tried it with. When I drag a windowed game onto the TV, it'll be fine at first, but when I try to turn the fullscreen mode of the game back on, it disappears from the TV and my computer monitor goes black. Note that this isn't the case for every game I tried. One game, Tattletail, has a built-in feature that allows you to choose which display for it to be on before actually starting the gameaq. Another game, Bendy and the Ink Machine, allowed me to disable fullscreen, drag it onto the TV, then turn fullscreen back on without any issues. However, the other games I tried are as follows: Five Nights at Freddy's 2, Five Nights at Candy's 3, One Night at Flumpty's 2, similar Clickteam/Game Maker games, and then World of Warcraft. All the Clickteam/Game Maker games gave me the issue I described above, and World of Warcraft pretty much did the same, except it actually comes back onto my computer monitor whereas the other games just vanish from the TV and make the monitor go black until I click away from them. Any suggestions?
