I recently bought an galaxy s6 off of Craigslist, and I'm not sure what to do. I figured out the phone was rooted due to restriction to apps like samsung pay. I checked through apps and they say it's currently not rooted. Which means it probably previously was rooted. I don't know what the owner did to it, but I factory reseted and all but I know that doesn't get rid of roots sometimes. The question is, is there a chance the previous owner can still access my phone and steal personal info information through like, a root or third party service? I've been looking at my data service, and the only service really using data is Android OS, but there's too many apps being used under that service for me to tell. Some one help please
