I recently purchased a samsung s8, but am quite confused as to why I'm unable to charge the phone using the USB cable provided. It only charges correctly while using the fast charger adaptor included with the phone. Does this mean that I need to get products for my phone that carry this "fast charging" feature? Because the cable doesn't seem to work via anything else, not even my MacBooks USB. For instance, I connected the cable to my cars USB to charge while driving, but the percentage only went down instead of going up. Im not sure why this is, or if buying a car charging adaptor with the "fast charging" feature that I can connect the USB to will fix this. Any help is appreciated, thank you!
