A couple of days ago I dropped my phone in the restroom stall. The floor was damp from a leaking pipe. I thought it was fine as I use a waterproof case (so much for that, Otterbox). Well when I picked it up, it worked perfectly well at first. I could still do everything with it, including sending messages. About an hour later, when I took out my phone to send another message, I couldn't launch the keyboard. The bottom of the touch screen stopped responding completely - about half an inch from the bottom.
I took the case apart and the battery out to give it a thorough wipe but nothing changed. I don't know how to take the rest of the phone apart.
The really funny thing is, on the 2nd day I impulsively took out the S-Pen (that comes with the phone) and tried it. Actually I was really very frustrated and just jabbed at it like, "arrrgghh, can't you work?" and it DID work. Fingers no, but S-Pen yes. I tried to look it up online but I only get answers for the whole screen not working.
This is the 3rd day and I still have the same problem. It makes typing very slow. I initially wrote this on my phone with the S-pen but gave up.
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 3, in case this is relevant.
Anyone know what the problem is and how to solve this, please? Thank you for your help in advance.
