So I recorded a 3 min video yesterday on my Mac and transferred it through google drive on my Samsung s6. I attempted to open it on google photos… Didn't work. I tried multiple times, turned on and off the phone. Checked to see if I needed the google video/movie app… It isn't for that. I then tried multiple ways to get the file on my phone; I tried emailing it to me, attempted to try dropbox. I downloaded a different video player… Which did not allow me to upload the video onto Instagram (error message). Lastly I transferred the video through airdriod… Got the video but still did not allow me to upload it onto Instagram. I tried a converter app on my phone, but in order to access what I needed (format changing, minimizing the length of the video). I needed the advanced version. I though this was MUCH MORE SIMPLE! When I read the steps online "how to transfer a video onto Instagram from a laptop/computer." It was simple: upload to google drive, and then upload to Instagram… NOT. What can I do, and how do I avoid this from happening next time?
