What to do after submerging phone in water and then in rice? More tips?
So I was washing my sheets and I couldn't find my phone, and I thought that my worst dream came to life. It did. It was in the washing machine, but the cycle was still in the early stage, even though the washer was full of water. I immediately took it out, and on my Samsung Galaxy S4, there was a dark red light on the top of the phone. I tried to turn it on, didn't work, so I took off the case, took off the cover and removed the battery and SIM card, then submerged it into rice. The battery is water damaged, because the red tag thing on the edge of the battery said so. If my phone doesn't survive, could I just get a new battery? I know the battery has water damage, so maybe that's just the problem? Would the phone be okay besides the battery?
