My phone wiped my emails, how do I restore them?

I have a samsung galaxy j5 an get my emails sent to my phone using the pre-installed "email" app. I booked tickets on the 6th of May for an event on the 31st of May and got an email that day which included the pdf version of the tickets (they're only in pdf version, they don't send out mailed copies). I went back on my emails today to print out the tickets and all my emails older than a week have been wiped. I thought they might just be gone from my phone so I logged onto my emails on my laptop and they're completely gone, they're not even in the deleted folder. The tickets have now sold out so is there any way to get my emails back?
