My Galaxy S7 Edge heats up really hot when charging, is this normal?

Okay, so I've never used an android phone, I've always used an iPhone, so this is my first Samsung/android phone, I've had it for about 3 days now, and so far I've been noticing it heats up really hot to the touch when I just leave it be and charge, I don't use it when charging. Like its hot enough to burn my hand. Is this normal or should I take it back? I've never had an iPhone get this hot before on me.
Added (1). So far I'm loving this new phone, other than the fact that it heats up really hot. I've only had it for 3 days.
Coming from an iPhone to an android its so confusing cause theres so many settings and things that the iPhone don't have, I have fast charging turned on, should I turn it off? It charges kinda slow, slower than my iPhone even with fast charging turned on.
