Alert… I'm not so good at the technical details behind cameras. I read somewhere that a camera with say f/1.7 like the S7 lets in more light than a camera with f/3.5 like a Canon EOS Rebel T5 with f/3.5-5.6. So, does this mean the S7 camera is better at low light than the Canon? I find that a bit hard to believe because DSLRs are supposed to be much better overall.
Second question: Should this f/3.5 be a guide for me when choosing a camera?
