Samsung galexy s5 keeps eating sorry unfortunately messaging has stoped?

I called tech suppurt twice. With no luck, i just got the phone but its been past 14 days so i can return it, i cant get into my locked messages with out it saying sorry unfourtnatly messaging has stopped. Or if i try to scroll through old messages and re read them i get the same thing sorry unfortunately messages has stopped, i clear catch, rebooted, factory reset, unistalled and re-enstalled with no luck i still get the same thing happening. Im thinking about just selling it i dont know what i should do, or how to get rid of this issue, i hate wasting money, like this because if i do sell im not gonna get full price back, samsung what a scam
