Quick Charging ( Fast Charging ) does it do damage to battery?

I have been charging my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge with the Quick Charger that came with it. There was no other charger except that. I noticed in the 4th month that my battery suddenly didn t hold that much charge as it did when I bought it. The battery usually lasted me around a day and now it lasts me around half. I also noticed that when not in use, the battery still drains faster. Does anybody know if quick charging deteriorates the battery? I was thinking of buying a normal Samsung Charger and charging it regulary when not in a hurry, and if in a hurry, then using the Fast Charge. What do you all think?
