Can I use my Samsung Galaxy s5 in the shower?

I know the phone itself is not actually water PROOF it s water RESISTANT so I got a lifeproof case which makes the phone able to go in 6 feet of water for up to an hour or something like that not sure exactly how much or how long but I think it s around there. So I know the phone is safe in the shower as far as water goes but I m just worried temperature wise. I m worried that the shower is a bit too warm to the phone to be but I m not sure so that why I m typing this question. Do you think my s5 would be safe in the shower especially with the lifeproof case or do you think it would be a bad idea? If you think it ll be a bad idea why do you?
