Any way to disable T-Mobile FamilyWhere?
I received a text message today that someone one on my family plan has signed up for the "T-Mobile FamilyWhere app" and can track my phone. I am a 25 year old adult with responsibilities but with also a personal life, and this seems like an invasion of privacy. I own a Galaxy S5 and tried to install multiple "GPS" spoof apps from the app store that apparently hide your gps location, but none of them worked, as I checked on the familywhere app itself and it still showed my location or exact proximity.
Is there any way to get my phone from being tracked? I disabled absolutely everything, and it still shows its location. None of the apps work that supposedly hide your location. Turning my phone off does work, but I can't have it turned off for hours at a time. I guess it has to do with the pinging of cell towers about locaton, but I would assumed there would be away around it.
