How to find a lost, dead Samsung Galaxy S3 phone?

Today I went out and had my phone in my bag. After going to many places, I arrived home. I then went to a relatives house and noticed it went missing from my bag. So when I went home I tried searching all over for it. My uncle called my phone but it went straight to voicemail… Meaning it's dead. So I went on various websites in searching for a solution but none of them worked. In Google Play I downloaded Lost Android. Didn't allow me to open. So I went on google and typed where is my phone. It was unable to locate it. I then searched on google location history, I went on today's date and saw various pinpoints of places I don't recognize at all. But when I go to the day before, I see the places I have been to. I got home around 3 pm, and when I saw the last history of today it was at 6:30. Which was when I couldn't find my phone, and it showed of a persons house. But I honestly couldn't believe whether it was true or not, and it's pretty late right now and I don't want to bother anybody in driving me all the way to that persons house. And for the Samsung account, I don't know if I had one made or not. So I did one but it's not much help.
I told my mother of the situation and she said I'm in DEEP ****. Which is not much good at all. And said that I should be more responsible, which I am. In fact this is the first time I even lost my phone. Idk if this helps at all but the phone was given to me as a hand me down from my mom.
