What should I do? Apple vs Android?

So, I'm getting a smartphone, but my parents can only afford either the 8gb iPhone 5c or the galaxy s5. The problem is I've been saving up for an ipad. I even have a few iTunes giftcards that I haven't used. And I like apple a lot more than android, but is 8gb enough? I really don't see the point of buying a song or movie on google play and then having to buy the same thing on my ipad so I have to pick a brand and either get the 8gb iPhone and an ipad or get the galaxy and some kind of galaxy tablet. So what should I do? Is 8gb enough?
This is what I want on my phone (at the same time)
300 photos (or more. I love taking pictures lol)
at least 50 songs
YouTube app
Instagram app
around 8 games
1 movie (not a necessity tho)
Would this all fit?

Please don't answer if you aren't sure. I don't want to get the iPhone and only be able to fit like 1 app and 20 songs on there after being told differently.
