Keyboard frozen on new Samsung Galaxy S5?

I recently got a Samsung Galaxy S5, and have already encountered a problem with the keyboard. When I leave the keyboard on the screen and then turn it off, the keyboard freezes on the screen and requires a reboot to be rid of it. I know this is not a huge problem, but it is a new phone and I wanted to see if there was anything I can do to fix this. I will not send the phone in, as it takes 10-12 weeks and I don't think it's worth it.
Is it a problem with the keyboard app, or the phone itself, for one?
