Months ago I dropped my phone in the toilet and did immediately what you are supposed to after dropping a phone in water and let it dry out completely. Tried turning it on and it would turn on for a minute or two but shut off again and had trouble keeping charge. Replaced the battery and that didn't work so I kinda said forget and put it away and used an old phone I had. A couple days ago I stumbled across a way of cleaning your phone by giving it an alcohol bath. So that what I did. It now works and turns on, vibrates, makes sounds, and seems to be charging (I assume so because it is not beeping at me constantly saying its dying) The only thing is, the screen is black. But I know the touch sensor is still working because the screen will unlock when I swipe it (I know this because of the unlock sound) so really my question is, will the screen eventually work again or am I just screwed out of this phone?
