A little info, I work as a dishwasher for a local restaurant chain and I stand next to a giant industrial dishwasher where I go home at the end of my 12 hour shift and I'm soaked. During the shift there is usually steam blasting on me, not really hot steam but its hotter than the human body temperature. I had an iphone 4 for a long time and I could notice the more shifts I worked with it on me the slower and weirder it started acting. I finally used my upgrade and got the galaxy s5. I'm wondering if the water resistant aspect of the phone will be enough to keep it in pristine condition in my pocket for these shifts. I need to have my phone on me at all times because of my engagements to other people and my family. Is a fix for this as simple as putting the phone in a ziploc bag every shift? Or is the temperature what ultimately killed my iphone? I know this is a really strange question but is there anyway I can protect my phone from the humidity and slight water that makes it through my work jeans without buying some crazy huge lifeproof case, or is the galaxy s5s design good enough on it's own. Like I said in the past I used ziploc bags at waterparks in the past for my iphone. Thanks in advance to anyone that can answer this or provide tips.
