I got a samsung s5 on contract on monday. It wanted permission to update about 3 hours ago, and warned that some functions could not be used/ not to remove the battery as phone may not function correctly after. I thought nothing of this and accepted update. I went to use my phone there and realised that my phone won't let me swipe open. Would it still be updating this amount if time later, and would it disable your swipe? There is no indication of update progress or anything, although it is still letting me see missed calls (I've had 3 I couldn't answer because no swipe).
Please help! Afraid to try and remove battery in case it IS still updating, although I don't know if that would even make a difference.
Added (1). I think my phone was connected to my home wifi? And it updating like that would lock it/ disable swipe, so I just need to be patient?
