I have a Samsung Galaxy note 2 phone that my boyfriend gave me for my birthday few months ago. A few weeks ago I had an accident, I was walking with my phone in my hand and some guy accidentally kicked his soccer ball at my hand with the phone, which made it drop on the cement. The screen didn't crack but inside the screen there's a few little black lines and dots. I asked the guy if he or his parents could lend me money for repair but he said he didn't have any money to spare (which makes sense considering he was a bit younger than me), so I told him just forget it and be careful with the ball next time. It's not that big a deal but the marks in the screen annoy me and I want to get it fixed, but because my boyfriend had the phone shipped in overseas, I cannot get it fixed anywhere as I live in Australia and the phone is from overseas. I know this because I went to a repair shop and the guy said since the phone is not Australian version, I cannot get it fixed anywhere:( So I'm not sure what to do with the phone. It still works good, it's just the marks in the screen that annoy me. I was thinking of paying back the amount of money my boyfriend payed for the phone (which would come to 650 dollars or more) and get a new phone and sell this one for scrap (if possible). Could I ship it anywhere overseas for repair?
What should I do guys? Or is there a way I can repair it myself? If you guys know what I mean by lines in the screen, what parts need replacing?
Thanks!
