I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 with Google Maps 2014 version 8.0, I hate it, it's so slow. I really like the older versions of Google Maps.
My old phone, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, has Google Maps 2012 version 6.14.2, and I really like it.
