Can restore my samsung galaxy s4 with an old google account drain my battery?

Hi, I purchased a Samsung galaxy S4 no more than 3 days ago and I'm just wondering if the old google account that I have been using ever since my first Android phone is making my battery drain faster…
I used to have a Galaxy S3 and the battery was horrible and I was wondering if the old account was the reason.
Is it better to use a new one?

PS: I also use all the possible tips to inprove or maintain the battery life ( kill all apps, reduce brightness, clear cash partitions, not let the phone die or leave it plugged…)
