How to remove K9 Web Browser from my Android phone without password?

I've had this app for a few years and have never needed the password, and as a result I have forgotten it. I am needing to delete it now, and need the password, but Blue Coat says they can't reset my password because 'it's encrypted' to my phone, so I need some ideas to remove it. I've tried the 'Clear Cache' which was supposedly to let me do 'Force Stop,' but I never get the option to. I've tried connecting my phone and deleting the folder under 'data' in 'Android' but it keeps reappearing. Any ideas?
Added (1). It's a Samsung Galaxy S3
